I don't understand, why people do not set up there own personal cloud server. Instead of buying expensive bullshit storage, i.e. icloud, or buying an external hard drive.

Because users don't understand what a cloud is, and you want them to set up their own? you clearly haven't worked with people.

With that thinking, entire thread is useless. Everyone who use insecure devices will not change their ways, and the people who care about security, already know to not use this type of device. Just saying.

I'm sure it took a lot of dedication to find that particular glitch, there is no safe system. Wouldn't really bash seagate, they have nice hdds.
