Germany's trojan
« on: October 18, 2011, 07:10:44 pm »
I think you all might heard of Germany's trojan, found by the Chaos Computer Club (CCC).

Recently a new version of this was found. It's the so called "Big Brother".

This version was uploaded to virustotal and then shared with all those AV companys, for sure..
It injects into even more applications then only skype, for example into Windows Explorer and other VoIP software
like paltalk. Additionally there's a 64bit driver included, signed by fictive "Goose Cert".

Most large governments have tools like this. The FBI had CIPAV and Green Lantern and on the network level they had carnivore and other tools. All the more reason to keep your system on lock.
