Does anyone know an IRC 100% free program that doesnt expire?

Hi guys, ive already had a lot of programs that allow me to access IRC chats and stuff...
but they all have a license that expires if i dont pay...

how do you access IRC?

you can use hexchat, telnet, weechat, quassel, pidgin, empathy, .... all opensource stuff and free
