Using Aircrack-ng ?! can someone assist NEW

Very new to the hacking community, and figured a new and thorough article could help with beginning hacking using aircrack. Ive ben using CMD as administrator, and i have aircrack-ng and wireshark and a few other programs i know to be usefull in WIFI cracking with WINDOWS, but i just dont know where to start. If someone doesnt mind, i could use some help, maybe a step by step, or someone to help walk me through this. the internet is full of videos, but id rather learn from my peers, learn how someone else learned, therefore can pass on the knowledge myself someday.

I would start with installing a linux distro in a vm . maybe kali its easy to use to start out with. You will probably run into issues using windows.

You will also needs a wifi cards capable of injection.

As white-knight said, don't use Windows, you won't be able to accomplish much. With wireless auditing it's important to have a wireless card that supports injection and this won't happen on windows. You need a Linux OS, and Kali is a popular choice as it comes with most of the wireless auditing tools you'll need, and is configured for most supported wireless card drivers capable of injection.

Yes, there are tutorials everywhere on the subject - use them. Learn from them, learn more by doing it, google when you get stuck - learn more...  That is how everyone else learned it.

There are 8 tutorials on wireless - on the EZ wiki, they were written by members here.

Honestly, your question is rather weak and pathetic. It shows a very low amount of self motivation. No one will hold your hand. DIY or find a new hobby.

Youtube resources are also excellent. I'm sure you could even find a book in PDF if you used the filetype:pdf "wireless hacking with kali" (book) command

Also, I echo the aforementioned comments about using a Linux system, either as the base OS or in a VM. VMs are great for laboratory operations, since hacking unauthorized networks is unethical and illegal.

i'm also new in all this stuff, but i m not asking questions, i learn by myself. I'm using alfa AWUS036NH and i think that this card is good by quality and price. I needed one day to figure some stuff, and first WEP network was cracked, also i catch one handshake for wpa2 network. So as advanced members said, you can find lots of stuff on this forum without asking simple questions

This be my favorite, been using it for years, and I highly recommend it. However be sure to use a WiFi adapter for auditing and a separate one for browsing

Price is ok. I will check it on ebay, or some local stores. I'm new in this, but i tried alfa card i had, and it seems ok. But i will buy that one too. I alos have 3 antennas, 5,7, and 9 db
