Mario Kart 64. #1 childhood favorite. I also loved Diddy Kong racing. I have purchased both in the last year and an N64. I should have never sold my old one, but when you are 13 and want some cash you have to do something.

I would  say that the game from my childhood would be pokemon and GTA. I remember playing Pokemon on the GBA. I don't know why but pokemon was one of those games that would never get boring and always have something to do, until these games now. You play the SP, beat the game and you would never play it again. I never had this issue when it came to pokemon. The GTA is a classic, I mean you beat the SP mode and there nothing else other than the side missions but driving around and shooting and killing people and running from the cops would make it fun. GTA is one of those games you'll still play after beating the SP but you dont play it for a long tme.

- The Oregon Trail (Apple II) <-- In first grade there was no better feeling than walking into the computer lab to find out it was Oregon Trail day.
- Super Mario World (SNES)
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
- Perfect Dark (N64)
- Final Fantasy VII and VIII (PS)

Aw, man, I'm feeling old now  :P .

I played my Dad's Atari 2600 as a kid so Atari and Activision games like River Raid, Freeway, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Missile Command and Berzerk come to mind.

Later on I played Where In The World In Carmen San Diego? and Sim City in school.
