Hello everyone,
this tutorial is working on all Lenovo units with OEM preinstalled OS - Windows 7. So if You remove sticker with Windows 7 or Your sticker with cd-key is not visible or You cannot activate OS by put cd-key into right place, You can use this tutorial to LEGAL activate OS:
In attachment You can find files:
"LENOVO.XRM-MS" - original file with License OEM Lenovo, which is commonly available in the system files on Lenovo computers with preinstall WIN 7".
"install.bath.txt" - You must change his extension from .bat.txt to .bat - simply batch file, which will install license in Your operating system.
Instruction of instalation:
Paste LENOVO.XRM-MS on "C:", it should looks like: C:\LENOVO.XRM-MS, then from any localization on comp You should run as administrator "install.bat". OS is activated now (even without restart computer).
Rules:
If You have Win 7 Home Premium, You must install Windows 7 Home Premium (it doesn't matter if X86 or X64).
If You have WIN7HP, but You will install WIN7 PRO, system will be not activated.
If You install W7HP from BOX and unit can not be activated, please install OS without cd-key, problem will be resolved.
Generally license file based on OA, so it is 100% legal, original, etc...
If You have any doubts about credible - what file say, You can open both files in text mode and check if install.bat is not harmful for Your computer and if LENOVO.XRM-MS is tie in with original file (yes it tie in
