Get Mac Adress of any IOS Device

I know, u don't really like IOS devices, but i have to know how to get the mac adress of an iPhone with IOS 7..

Is there a virus/phishing methode to get it? Or can i get it with a few ping commands in shell?

I would assume you could get their mac address easily if you  shared the same wifi, using  some sort of packet sniffing tool. Though i think ios obfuscates the mac address. Im not sure either way, just google it.

WiFi address is your Mac address.

Or connect your idevice to your WiFi router and connect to your router to see what devices are connected.

Airdump-ng scan would display a iPhone Mac.

Feel like this question could have been answered from a simple Google search. A little effort.

The thing is, what is when target's iPhone isn't in the same WLAN? Maybe a script in safari for reading out the mac adress?

MAC Address isn't sent as part of an HTTP header, so you won't be able to do this from a web based script?

Why do you want to achieve this though? 

If you really are dedicated to achieving this, I'd recommend you look around for an existing exploit which you might be able to trick the user into downloading?

Would help if you said what kind of scenario or circumstances you're under. A barebones option if you can get on the same Wifi but dont control it is to ping IP's in your subnet and check your arp cache for a list of possible MAC's.

What do you play on doing with a MAC address anyway?

Well if they're not on the same WLAN, you can use airodump-ng on a router they are connected to if they're an active client you would have the MAC.

If you are connected to the same wifi there are port/device scanners that can show all devices connected and open ports on the network.
