IMO Laptops are far more superior to Desktops . They are smaller, cheaper and easy to carry on and use in any giving environment,

They sure are smaller, but they are not cheaper when it comes to what you get in terms of performance. Laptops probably wont ever have better performance than desktops simply because of the obvious fact that laptops are meant to be portable, and therefore they are a lot smaller.

I'm going to agree with Ande here, it stands to reason that if you want the same thing in terms of specs/performance out of a smaller, more compact and lighter computer, not to mention the fact that it is portable, you're always going to pay more.

Welcome. Sit on the couch in the corner and I'll bring in the bitches.

Well I completely agree with Ande.I love my water-cooled desktop but I could not bring that from greece to Italy.I bought my first laptop a few months ago and I can say I am doing almost everything I used to do on my PC(Almost everything cause it's a macbook pro,but it still hacks great ;) ) and I am satisfied a lot!!!!!!

I use both actualy..
laptop is handy for when I'm not home.
in the train here we have free wireless acces..
*so lately I love to take the train. (sniffing everybody with cain&able)
Last week I learned my girlfriend how to use cain to dns-spoof everybody on the train that where logged in. ;-) so when a passenger try to get to google or facebook
they ended up at lemonparty.com  ;D
at home the laptop is used for scanning and bruteforcing.
a sidekick :D

and for security, do much with tor or ip spoofing and vpn ofcourse.
al my important juicy stuff are located on 1 external drive.

Last weekend we went from Hilversum to Groningen..
About 30 different connections.
They have a max of 128 ip connections.
Problem is that promiscuous mode don't work, but that isn't a problem for Cain :D
so actualy sniffing their outgoing packages is difficult.., (But not impossible)
I have some ideas to do this with dns-spoofing.. still working on that..

and yes it's slowwwww... :D grinn..
train is expensive.. so I'm gonna test my findings at the mcdonalds or something :D
