Please help me ID this virus to prove my innocence

Mates I need your help. My manipulative brother was surfing the web when he clicked on a new lInk which had a loading bar and said it was antivirus software. I spoted it as malware and shut the computer off. But my brother blamed me and said it was one of my programs unmade on python or the things I downloaded to learn programming. I have only downloaded rainbow crack and wire shark and a decompiler. None had a virus, but my dad refused to believe me and deleted all my tools and programs, even a password cracker me and my friends have been building. It's all gone. I need to know what was this thing and am o at fault? Thanks for helping, although I don't suspect anyone wI'll care....

aw, to stupid, most of the time people are to safe with their computers and think everything is a virus,  wireshark is not an infected program,  neither is python,       get your own computer and continue learning python!! it is a great language to start programming,   maybe later on you want to read grayhat python.

We can't help with anything, unless we know what was the website - and even then I don't we anything can be done to fix stuff.
