Question
« on: April 09, 2012, 02:17:18 am »
Hi, Im wondering if its possible to be totally anonymous in PC games? Im not sure how to use a proxy on them, and im also wondering if you can fake your GUID. My friend said its possible to change your GUID by changing your registry values, but as ive screwed that up once, i need to know if thats possible so nothing bad would happen :)

Sorry for late reply, been busy.

In these days most multiplayer games have online accounts you have to access before you can play the game. In this case you will have to make sure your account data is anonymous as well as your IP when you play games.

The easiest way I can come up with on the top of my head is using a VPN. Windows will simply tunnel all your traffic to the VPN. And yes, you can change your GUID in registery, but I wouldent recommend it.
if($statement) { unless(!$statement) { // Very sure } }
