Beer!
« on: April 10, 2012, 05:13:50 am »
Perhaps if this is too petty this can be moved to random or something.

I was curious as to what kind of beer do you guys prefer. I'll start. I am an american but I live with mexicans so normally I drink Tecate. I we have excess money we drink Dos Equis if I had all the money neccesary I'd enjoy a nice heavy dark German beer.

I haven't had anything but a sip of alcohol on a rare occasion. My friend and I are going to brew beer with the coffee-maker method this summer.

mostly cheap canadian beer, I like rickards red, labatt blue dry.

from US: budweiser(and anything that tastes like it), rolling rock.

idk which country makes black label(beer, not scotch... I love mr. walker)

I'll drink most any beer, I got many types in my fridge... In fact most of my fridge is beer, meat & cheese. The rest are condiments.

I mean yeah I'll drink anything as well. Meh coronas are the retarded step cousin of mexican beer. Modelo, tecate, dos equis, all better.

Definitely not really a light beer guy

Pretty sure it's made in South Africa. The main brewing company is located is South Africa i believe. Originally I think it was made in Canada no?

Make you're own beer it's cheaper and you'll probably learn something cool!!

 yeast + sugar + water - oxygen = ethanol

I don't drink at all since even a few drinks gives me a hangover but one of my cousins has assigned me the task of making beer for him.  I read about it for a couple of days and it's pretty interesting, he bought a basic starter kit but I haven't started yet, probably within the next week or so.

Best books I found on the subject

How to Brew: Everything You Need To Know To Brew Beer Right The First Time

Alaskan Bootlegger Bible
http://amzn.com/0967452406
This one teaches you how to make stills, it's pretty sweet!!!

Lol yeah but that's not beer. That's prison wine. Easy to make, takes about two weeks or longer for stronger. Not beer though. It's not bad if you add a little koolaid to the mixture for taste and a different color besides diluted piss.

@xzid-Corona tastes skunky anyway. But, a beers a beer and I'd drink it. I'm havin myself a large quantity of tecates right now :P (closest thing to drunk emoticon)

Milwaukees Best Ice, Steel Reserve, Budwiser, in that order. I'll drink a Corona or some Guinness every now and then when I'm not buying.

The only other alcohol I drink is Vodka, or Rum (not spiced) darker drinks make me mean.

I enjoy steelies. Is there a difference between malt liquor and beer? I know that when I drink forties I get drunk way faster. And have much worse hangovers. Oh yeah also Cobras. Don't mind miller high life(only miller I will drink)

Milwaukees Best Ice is brewed by Miller and is cheap. IDK about the malt stuff cause I know Steel Reserve is like high gravity logger and is. considered beer. now something like Hurricane might not be legally considered beer.
