Starting a new project...need ideas[Python/C/C++]...Collaborate?

I'm looking to start a new programming project cause I'm pretty bored with the Ada classes I'm taking. Pretty much don't care what language (py,C,C++) just need some ideas, maybe some novice collaborators I'm new to this stuff so go easy

Well I'm not sure how I was going to go about it yet but I'm planning on making an application similar to this one:

What I hope to accomplish is pretty much an application that will have inputs for ISO files as well as an Free-DOS application and a menu to create a multiboot disk
