Do you swim? If yes then try dolphin or butterfly... you will definitely lose belly fat faster than any exercise and be prepared for aches. :)

lol I have belly fat too.. I'm overweight.. not obese but still overweight.. I would say general exercise helps... keep running around 5 KM everyday and you will automatically lose fat all over the body..

here is something that I had to know for my P.E class

for each molecule of glucose

aerobic respiration = 38-2 A.T.P ( energy molecule in mitochondria)
anaerobic respiration = 4-2 A.T.P

so it means that when you start exercise you gain 36 A.T.P while when you continue pushing past the limit, completely out of breath and gain a second wind then it will be only 2 molecules
and burn more fat in less time because the body generates energy without sufficient oxygen..

If you continue running for long you will start losing fat much faster than short bursts.. same goes for any exercise you do, do it until you are out of breath...

* fat and glucose that is fats and carbohydrates are inter convertible in the body!

Like mentioned, it will be all cardio workouts. Running, swimming, sex. Sweat as much as you can, and drink plenty of fluids. Don't eat about 1.5-2 hours before you go to sleep, and preferably workout before you eat in the morning. Breakfast is a really important meal, but don't go too heavy on the carbs.

Don't eat really big meals, and keep at the running or cardio workouts and you'll drop weight in about 2-4 months. Don't expect results overnight, or even dramatic results in a month. It does take some time. And it will take even longer to actually get rid of the fat cells. They don't go away right away, they shrink.

If your looking to lose belly fat you must be looking to lose weight in general as you cant lose fat from one part of your body and not the rest, so looking for ways to loose weight would be a good bet.
I only have the intention of losing weight for my abs i like doing the "bootcamp" routine ie: 10 mins of 10 different exercises  1 minute per each without rest. You should probably look at dieting too, I love food too much to bother with that though and im not a big junk food eater anyway. :)

also check out livestrong.com
good for all sorts of exercise, If you reduce your calorie intake by 500 apparently you can lose a pound a week. So get a little notepad and pen and keep it with you and write down everything you eat and drink and add up the calories at the end of the day and after 7 days get the average calorie intake, then reduce it by 500.

From personal experience this is what I did....... I watched a lot of tv so I designed a program around that. Every time a commercial came on I would do my sets of exercises. This included pushups, situps, mountain climbs, planks and sometimes squat thrusts. It worked well, I lost some weight and felt better about watching tv :) . Just start small, you can do it if you really want to.

Loving the commercial idea. Wont work with me though since I only use netflix and there is no commercials, but the idea is really good.

Maybe to radio?

This goes against what all bodybuilders want hehe.
Well i suppose if your doing that to lose weight its not so bad but wouldnt work in terms of gaining muscle as it should really be 30 secs between each exercise.

If you want to build muscle you should really try to create a workout plan that fits your lifestyle, the whole commercial idea is really just a good way to get up off the couch and get motivated. Just don't over do it. Well best of luck to everyone.

Strength training, Cardio and a calorie deficit, prefferably low-medium carb, high/medium fat and high protein.

Eat one to two big carbohydrate rich meals depending on your activity level.

What is your weight, height etc?

cardio will definitely help, but there's a fairly common phrase in the exercise world....."Abs are made in the kitchen".  Google that phrase will garner all kinds of results.

.....awh damn I'm not the moderator of this board. In any case I think this thread should be closed. The answer has been spoken. By the way you should know that no one, not even celebrities have six packs year round. According to science youd pretty much have to dedicate your life to looking like a sexy gay man to achieve that.

EDIT: Also what the guy above me said ^^^
