Kinda old news. But really cool stuff.


I like the transparency of it. Next step after this is a few years old and in main production is to develop contact lenses that do this. I'm waiting on night vision myself.

We're getting close. I've seen them wire directly into a mouses brain, controlling the rodent, and getting feedback via the brain itself. Damn conservatives are holding us back though. We could be doing soooo much more if all the pissed off mom's get off their high horse....

what can be done to mice can be done to real people! do you really think that allowing such device to be built is a nice idea.. I know it has good uses but I see some very bad ones too.

For disabled people it could vastly help. Or it could be used to reanimate dead bodies and have a cyber-zombie apocalypse. Lol.


Just like most great inventions, there is always the possibly use for bad things.


In the end though, I see it as a good thing. It will help us understand the human brain more, and unlock doors not yet seen.
