I don't blame you, I ran vista for a long time before 7 came out, but post above ^ is 100% correct. 7 is like a tuned-up vista.

What's with all the windows? I too expected more *nix here.

Anyway, I can't sit at my computer due to sciatica (shit fucking sucks..) but I am running Ubuntu 10.04[lucid] with GNOME. My current background is this found in the creative arts section.
