5.0 Jailbreak Help

iv just got an iphone 3g its version 5.0(9A334). can i jailbreak it ?

Hmm i didn't know that iphone 3g could run on version 5. Hmm as far as i know it's only possible to do it on version 4.1 but i'm not quit sure.


You can use a tool called "Snowbreeze".

That changes it all. I can gladly recommend Redsnow, I have used it by myslf on my iphone 4 and it's idiot prove and gets the job done very fast.

you most certainly can. redsn0w is my tool of choice as well. As far as I know, you can jailbreak every iOS device right now...except I'm not sure if you can do an untethered jailbreak of 5.1 yet. Might be able to.

I've read loads of your posts.. And i know that you can google.. I am a noob and most guys here are way better than i am. Also that my contribution to this forum is almost nil. What i meant was that just directly visiting a forum for jail breaking would've saved time more.

ohh.. ok..

though usually i just change my user agent to match google and then I don't require registration ..  well on many it still does..

ohh well... again I apologize... I should've been more clear in what I said.
what I meant was.. most forums already Have a Step by step thread stickied. so....
