a what if question
« on: August 18, 2012, 07:07:06 am »
hey guys iv been thinking with a combination of programming mixed with proxxys and this is just a theoretical question but does anyone THINK there would be a way to create a program that can Continously create Proxxys without you the user having to do  but a few simple key strokes like setting up a proxxy on top of a proxxy on top of a proxxy infinitely like a kuriboh effect from that yu gi oh show u know like an unlimited source of defense if so how would one even start to create somthing of this scale. Open for discussion?

Sounds pretty much like tor indeed. And its not a hard project, its just big and expensive and you need a lot of machines.

Only way I could see it implemented in a manner you could use effectively would involve either a botnet or a fuckton of money to purchase hosting all over the world.

Also, did you just reference yugioh??? Come on man, have some class :P

Personally, I love and play Magic the Gathering.

Not hating, I went through my yugioh phase!! It was right after my pokemon phase, in about 4th grade (11 years ago) lol. Just surprised people still play/watch it as I figured it would've died out by now. And like I said, it was cool in 4th grade...you could at leadt reference one piece or Great Teacher Onizuka (don't.know if that ones made it to america yet or not)  :P

Respect for Magic too, but I had to stop playing it cause anyone whose into it at all plays like its a tournament, new "legal" cards and rules every year...good business model but irritating to someone.like me who just does it cause his friends are. Ill only play now if someone is willing to play with super old cards and the basic rules that are the same throughout every season. No seasonal crap lol

That's referred as Legacy Decks, and legacy games. Which is the only way I play. Usually me and the wife on a drunkin night lol. We would take a shot every time a creature from the board was put in a grave yard.
