Back Track 5 R2 SET Question
« on: September 09, 2012, 02:02:46 pm »
Hi guys ,  :)
I'm new at this forum , but I was reading some topics and I have to say that you absolutely blow my mind .
I was having a little trouble because I didn't actually know where to put this topic .
So my question is , when I'm making clone of a website , and turning it into my IP adress , how can I actually put it online , because when I make a tinyurl out of my ip adress and send it to someone , no one but me can open that website , only my computer can open it as a cloned website , and others just get Error Loading page . Do I need to have web hosting or is there any other way?
Thanks ! :)

You are supposed to be using your external IP address.. and have opened-ports pointing to the port running the web server for the cloned website  ::)

You didn't know where to put this, so you posted it in the "Tutorials" section?

Why not post a formal introduction, the community is more pleasing if you do, and without asking easily googled questions and the likes

Just like z3ro said... Look up your external IP address with http://whatismyipaddress.com/ or you can create a dyndns address and use this one. You need to forward the required ports on your router to your workstation (port forwarding or NAT/PAT) settings. If you placed some reverse shell payload on the website clone you need to forward the specified port as well.
