What books are people reading?

Just thought a thread about books would be good. Not necessarily programming or hacking related ones, I know most of the books I read are novels. Currently reading

o Captain Corelli's Mandolin
o Masters of Deception (the gang that ruled cyberspace) *
o Great Gatsby
o A Clockwork orange
o Brighton Rock



*one of the reasons I joined this forum. Friend bought me the book from a charity shop and I got interested

I used to read a lot of novels, but in the last 3-4 months I have gotten really into learning, so right now I'm reading
  • Metasploit: The Penetration Testers Guide
  • Stealing the Network
  • How to Cheat at Everything
Why is the formatting getting rid of my new lines :( I had to use bullets.

Social Engineering: Art of Human Hacking - Chris Hadnagy
CCNA Study Guide 7th Edition - Todd Lammle
Art of War [English] - Sun Tzu/Ralph D. Sawyer

I know you said other than hacking/programming books, but I usually read about 10-15 pages out of each of those books every day.

Lol i read sooo much. Like 3-4 books a week, the girl with the dragon tattoo? Took me two days...

So here we go, this is what I've read/been reading in the last week:

The name of the wind
The wise man's fear
The spirit thief
The spirit rebellion
the spirit something or other, forget the title of the one i'll be sitting down to read tonight :/
Stealing the network series; how to own a box, how to own a continent, and how to own an identity

If you haven't read the first two books, i suggest you do so. They are fantasy, but the author writes better than almost anyone i've ever read. A master storyteller he is, and his words are very descriptive/imaginative whatever you want to call it. He brings the story to life.

No sorry, I bought the paperback version off of amazon. I tried searching real quick for a link, but I couldn't find one. If you're interested in buying it here's the one that I bought:

Mind you, this isn't a book about a certain war, this is a book written by a Chinese general on how to wage/plan/fight/win one. It's more of a philosophical/psychological strategy book. It's definitely a good read though.
