Little Math Problem

I can't make heads or tails of it.

(4^x) x (16^2x-2) / (4^2x-3) x (128) = ?

NOTE: The (x) in the brackets are variables while those outside are multiplication signs. Anything in front of (^) is an index.

I got 2^(6x-9) as can be clearly seen from the image.

The answer is 2^(6x-7)
(4^2x-3) becomes (2^4x) x (1/4^3).
And this is the reason.

The answer is 2^(6x-9), check it by replacing x with any number, the original statement will equal to this one.
