Scary Games
« on: October 08, 2012, 03:03:18 am »
How many of you like scary games, and what are some of you're favorites?

The only really scary games I've played are Amnesia: the Dark Descent, the Penumbra series, and Slender, all of which were great. My favorite is probably the second of the penumbra series, although the ending is a bit weird..

I was going to suggest those, but then it occurred to me that you'd JUST named them all off.  I got nothing D:

Actually, Obscure:  The Aftermath was really fucked up lol, about all I know, idk if you'd call Resident Evil scary in the same sense either, but it surprised me at times (the 4th one, that is)

+1 for Original Resident Evil. Nowadays it turned to shizzle. No horror, too much zombies and a wicked story that  has nothing to do with the original storyline.

Dude techb! I had Resident Evil 1 Director's cut and I didn't even play it lol my 5 years older brother did though :D.

as far as scary games go I'm going to have to recommend Dead Space I and II.  It's for the XBOX and PS3 and if you haven't played them before please start with 1 and then continue onto 2 because you won't get much of the story in 2 if you don't.  Also they are pretty old games so you can pick up dead space 1 for like 16 dollars or something at wal-mart ;) I think #2 is only 20 bucks or something so it's a good deal.

I've considered Dead Space for a while now but I don't have any friends who've ever played it..but seeing as its that cheap now, I might go for it after next payday.
