I noticed a thread a while back discussing the promotion of evilzone. Not a bad idea, but how exactly? We don't want to turn the site into skid paper, but we would like some more dedicated users. The idea of a minecraft server came upon me when I was told that Hack Forums has their own, which a couple different infosec forums use. Why not have our own evilzone server? We would have to find somehow to pay for it, I know Cloud Crafting has really cheap rates (but are currently out of capacity, some of their servers were ddosed). Just an idea to the community, I dont even know how many people here play minecraft, but I imagine at least some of us do. Just a suggestion.
