Bro, I am talking abt identity on fb

Its really up to you man. If you want your FB and handle connected, go for it. If not, then don't. But if you dint want them connected you also need to use separate email addresses and take a few more steps to make sure no one can find you easily. Personally its all but impossible to d0x me unless I have personally added you on FB. Go on, google me. Good luck sorting through all the trash ;)

ahh,sorry then for the sarcasm.

Well if you mean to share your legal knowledge and advises on security i don't thing is a problem. But if someone wants to advertise his illegal activities etc. just to show off i believe is stupid.

My answer is very simple i know but i think that covers your answer since you don't give more info.

BTW, Welcome to EZ.

It's always a good idea to have one life not connected to the other life. If you're doing bad things, it's better not to have any info about true you on the web. If you're doing nothing but good and want/need to have personal info easily found for business reasons or whatnot, then it's good to have that for everyone to see.

I have my "hacker" life, and I have a regular guy life. Both do not interconnect on the internets, but relate in real life.

Just remember that even if you don't use any similar information on your EZ acct and your FB acct you can still be connected by your profile picture pretty easily.

I created an entire new identity, but it was mainly for email control. Everything coming to one account would drive me insane... I imagine if you googled hard enough you could find my other accounts.

The term "hacker" is too broad.

Some need to be as anonymous as they can as revealing their true identities might mean jail time.
Others couldn't care less about anonymity.
There are just as many different types of hackers as there are individuals.

Some are open to such a level where two days after meeting them online they will give you their skype, fb, email, real name or even address.

In my opinion, a hacker is just someone who likes to think outside the box and is actively curious and creative.  So should a hacker hide his identity? Maybe yes. Maybe no.

haha, good job. I am well aware of all that information out there about me, and honestly, dont care. all someone with more malicious intent can do is attack more of my websites/accounts. as long as they are secure, so what lol.

And you'll never find my physical address... primarily because i dont have one.
But, my good Sir, will that stop some prankster from sending bags of trash or used diapers to your P.O. Box? oooooo burrrn!

Look man, whether you work for the Russian mob or you're just a regular guy, it's better to have less of your private information on the internet. I think that's the point skidiot was trying to make. The info he got is...well it's a lot.

Well, to get you in trouble, someone could get your Facebook ID hacked and then post... Stuff that calls the cops like ant to sugar...
You know what i'm talking about...
Now, the said person does that with proper precautions from a public wifi..
And you will enjoy the hospitality of law enforcement.
Finally you will be able to find some alibi but think about the damage.
The point is you will have to deal with shit if someone does that.

Too much worries when you use a real name.
Limits what you can say and how you can interact with people online.

I go by a nick everywhere. By many different nicks actually.
