Post your Christmas earnings!
« on: December 25, 2012, 08:33:38 pm »
Since nobodies started this thread yet it would appear, what did you get for christmas???

I got a 42inch plasma tv, a 1tb external harddrive, 5 sets of guitar strings, a Stevie Ray Vaughn tab book, an RC car, a $75 gamestop card, a bass guitar amp, an original xbox, a vegetarian cookbook, and a tattoo of a variation of the backtrack logo that I designed :D. Oh and about $550 in christmas money, but 90% of it came from my grandpa that gave me a bunch because he might not know who I am next year :/ he has really bad alzheimers :(.

This is actually alot for me, I'm really surprised with how much I got this year. I think it might be in part because I'm moving out in a few months, but it seems like people just randomly had money to spend on pointless things so they gave me stuff :D. Normally I wouldn't have gotten the TV or the tattoo, and probably not nearly that much money. Those 3 things were the most expensive out of mine and my christmas would have probably been affordable if it wasn't for those..

Got some smiles, nice wishes and some good quality time with friends.

I didn't celebrate Christmas, it doesn't play a big part in my life.

I didn't celebrate Christmas, it doesn't play a big part in my life.

Well, it doesn't play a big part in my life too, but its a day when most people are off work, at home with friends and families, having nice meals, socializing, exchanging gifts, making each other happy. A day when streets are decorated and make my evening walks a bit more nice and beautiful.

So even though it doesn't mean much to me, it it a nice day to relax a bit and just enjoy the company of my family and friends. So in a way, I do celebrate it. Why not ;)

At least that's how I see it.

Where I live it's not a day where people are off work. It's just one regular day out of 365 days.

Off work my ass I had to work for the last 8 hours of Christmas eve and the last 8 hours of Christmas day (4pm-12pm both days) I got a hand crocheted blanket from my Wifey, Uncharted 3 for the ps3 from my homie, and then $50 from my grandma. I got presents for a bunch of people, yet didn't get shit back except for those 3. Guess that's what I get for being nice but whatever...

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it.
