Computer logging?
« on: April 23, 2011, 06:03:46 pm »
hey,

as I came home today I found my computer which Google Chrome opened on my
email 2x, and 2 tabs with IP adress
as I recall one van the Email that was opened, was supposed to be deleted,
so Then I checked my history
appellation someone had been using my computer,
to check so things
As I checked the times I noticed that it was around a time in which I wasn't at home,
my parents say they know nothing,
but are there more ways to see when or how someone was using it?

I want to know was screwing with my PC
Os: XP

In Windows 7 you can look at the "events log." It will be in the administrative tools section.

Install a KeyLogger or some trojan and make it take images with a webcam every X seconds. This way you know when someone is using it and who is he. When you are using the PC, you only have to deactivate it.

There are many commercial keyloggers that are legal so there is no need for a Trojan that might already be infected by someone else. Also there is a hardware solution but it's only for logging keys on the keyboard.
Like this one:
Code: [Select]
http://www.keyghost.com/
If it moves shoot it,if it runs... hack it!

Put a password on your PC and lock it when your not home. Get a keylogger for keylogging.

Yeah, I lock my computer every time that I walk away from it, even if it is just for 30 seconds. I know this may seem paranoid, but it works for me, I have never had a problem on any of my computers.

Its a rat program...a program that u may have downloaded by mistake. I made one like that. it allows my to view and control the other persons computer. deleting the folder wont remove the problem. Check what programs are being allowed to run with ur AV. then check the registary too. Usually that works.
