I have some questions about "best torrent clint" (for windows), i did more research on torrent and when got to the torrent clint/downloader part i saw "Tixati" is in the first place and utorrent is in the second place. So i searched for "utorrent vs tixati" and got reviews, feedbacks, and they are different in different places. many say utorrent doesnt run on private tracks, tixati is better and its upcoming versions will be the greatest torrent client ever. And may say utorrent is better , tixati is ugly and even saw a post saying " tixati team paid about.com to suggest their client as the best". so what is the truth? im not good at using bit torrent, just started to learn how it works and how to use it.

First off, tixatia might be "the best torrent client ever in the future" but thats the future. Utorrent has a proven track record, and ill tell you from first hand experience that i would recommend it to everyone. As for it not working with private trackers, thats BS. I use only private trackers, and i use utorrent. That said, if the private tracker doesnt have utorrent on their whitelist for whatever reason, then you shouldnt use it there. However, i have yet to find one that doesnt have utorrent.

Second part, you dont have to seed but you do have to respect your private trackers ratio requirements. For instance, what.cd says no ratio needed if you leech less than 5gb a month (i believe) so as long as you stop downloading before reaching five youll be fine. If, however you go over, then you HAVE to seed or they will ban your account. And once its banned, they might even ban your IP address as well. They are very strict. That said, you should torrent to give back to the community. If you have a ratio of 0 then you will aldo be unable to join additional trackers, they dont want those who just leech and dont seed.
If your worried about power then use TPB or other open trackers, or dont torrent. But a computer really wont jack up your electricity bill that much, your TV takes more power to run than your computer does. Try turning that off instead. I run my computer 24/7 and it spiked our bill maybe 5 dollars since ive started doing that

Your answer was very satisfying, think you, but what about that ratio? They say tracker servers will keep punching my download speed down if i  keep leeching (even down to 1kb/sec). I have a limited slow internet connection On a slow pc. so uploading large files isnt an option for me. So is there anything els i can provide them for keeping my ratio up and strong?

I have a limited slow internet connection On a slow pc. so uploading large files isnt an option for me. So is there anything els i can provide them for keeping my ratio up and strong?

Get a seedbox, its on 24/7 and has great upload download speed, then you can just sFTP the files back to yourself. "I'm under 18 or I don't have a credit card" go to walmart or whatever and buy a pre-paid visa card and use that to pay for it... $30/mo gets you a very satisfying seedbox. Its also safer for you as the torrenter, esp. if you have a slow internet connection because you can just download at night via sFTP at night while you sleep, have the files in the morning. PROFIT?

2.Use thieftorrent to download without ratio,
3.Use tracker pro to spoof my ratio .

I know its wrong, but if i start uploading ill run out of my LIMITED(1GB or 4GB) internet usage befor even geting to download anything.

Then torrenting is not for you! I mean one album if 12 tracks will take ~100mb of your data. So torrenting from anywhere is gonna F up your data. Either gwt better internet or only torrent from a laptop on someone elses interwebz

I didn't really get into the scene until recently when I joined a private tracker. That tracker is only for knowledge, no movies or anything. But I've got a little over 100 new/ish movies that I find on google. :p

thats something i can do. I googled for that, and the results are ........Wait for it........ How to use torrent, more info about torrent, and all nonsence.
So witch tracks? And What are they called?

2. Private Trackers can detect ratio cheaters and you will be banned on multiple networks.
3. Again, Private Trackers will detect and ban you.

What can we all learn from this? Its that you can cheat tthe system, cheat the government, cheat corporations, bt nomatter what we don't cheat each other. I mean, why would you try to cheat people who are already giving you everything for free? Just don't make sense son.

Like i said befor in reply #22 , i wasnt planning on doing those things. I just wanted some opinion from you guys. Then I asked for the tracker name where i can provide  knowledge to keep my ratio up. I even PMed lucid to give me the name  but didnt answer yet.

And Say, if tixatia MAYBE is the best torrent of the future, then doesnt it deserve to be in that list?
