Setting
It is during the 13th century where kings and lords rule over the land, along with the church (christian/catholic) who make several "laws" which they use to persecute those who go against them and accuse them of being "evil" or "unjust." most of the world follows the ways of the church and will fight along side the church to keep their towns clean of the heathens. aiding, hiding, or even simple conversation with a heathen is strictly forbidden and will give you a one way ticket to hell, or at least the stakes. thats if you even make it there, most of the time you will be run down in the streets or driven out of town. the church also believes that if you are nonhuman (aside for wildlife) then you are the creation of the devil and you go against gods plan. same treatment. this does not mean you have to be human and follow the ways of the church. you can be anything and follow any deity if any. you want to be an elf who follows the old gods, go for it. want to be a wolf furry who follows every god ever known? all yours. just play your character well and be smart about it.
again, this is the middle ages, so swords, bows, metallic armor and leathers are common to wear for protection and horses, ships or by foot are your main mode of transportation. no guns and no futuristic tech. if you have a custom weapon or armor you would like to have, suggest it and tell me its stats and i will either approve or deny it. magic is seen as evil and will quickly have you killed on the spot if witnessed, so magic is not suggested. on top of that it is not a simple hand gesture or scroll and it happens. magic is the use of ones life source and will take a bit of time to use. it takes years of practice and drastically shortens ones life span. ex: begin learning magic at the age of 10 and become the head mage for the kings army and go to war every 3 years, you will be lucky to live past 30.

these are the main areas: there are three port cities on the east coast and two known islands. one is known for its mining of precious minerals from the remains of a volcano while the other is known for being a highly guarded island known as Crescent Island. Crescent Island is a safe haven for those who wish to escape the influence of the church. it is also an island that has a native language which most people call "moon-speak." though most of its natives have learned english due to the large amount of english speaking residents. there is a small town hidden away in the mountains and another small town on the edge of the Rotting Lands. The Rotting Land is a swamp formed by the over flow of the river system and the runoff from the mountains. most people tend to avoid the Rotten Lands due to rumors of strange creatures living in them and many people getting lost in this area. there is one uncharted island that is only rumored to exist, no one has ever been there and returned so it is still unknown what this island is like.

once your character sheet is finished and approved, it will be saved, and timestamped on the page. if it is edited afterwards without permission, then there will be a comparison to the one saved and if anything is changed then... we will figure out the punishment then.
