Q. Portables
« on: January 30, 2013, 08:12:03 am »
Im thinking about portablising all my common used softwairs by scripting some batch files or using portable suits but im not sure About....
1.Will it cause any change to my softwair and
2.wil i be able to update my apps and still keep it portable ?

Off topic :My town has an issue of load shading. It occurs Even more then thrice in the summer days  so i have to set up window twice or more time every month or two as it crashes and it becomes slower and i dont have any choice but to set the windows up and allll... those apps too. So i need to use portables to make it easy for me. Using linux would be great but most of my apps run on windows and os x only .

Back on topic : so what should i do? Portablise my apps by myself or download portablised apps (dont like this)

should i use batch scripting or should i use portable suits(like portable app makes, geeks menu, etc) to do it for me ?  Im confused . And need some suggestions.
thank you

I would suggest you create a fully installed (with your software and configuration) and create a full-backup.
