Ubuntu/BT5, best compatible notebook?
« on: February 12, 2013, 10:54:52 pm »
So, I want to have this notebook that I can program with, pentest, etc on the go. I don't want it to be shitty with like a 3000 kHz proccessor and 512 MB RAM, but maybe atleast 2 GB RAM, 2 gHz processor.

My budget is probably $400, but I may come with more when I have more money.
Found some links;

I just want your opinions on this.
Thank you :)

The only things you need to worry about is if the wireless card supports packet injection. Everything else doesn't really matter. There are plenty of drivers for everything else.

Yep looks pretty good to me, intel always has beautiful video support.
<3 Intel for being so kind to linux.

Its amazing the amount of updates they pump out.
There is a new intel video driver at least every other week!

Go for it, you wont be dissapointed.
Just stay away from hybrid graphics.
