Whonix
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:13:42 am »
Anyone tried it? I have been trying it out for a bit but I can't get the internet to work on it. I followed the instructions to the tee as far as I know. Just wondering if anyone else has used this distro at all.

I've tried it, but got the same result as you, so I just gave up and deleted the files.

A Doctor Who version of nix? Is it bigger on the inside? Does it travel through time and space?

I have tried it and it works. A bit difficult to setup, especially take care of the NIC's in your VM's. But when it works you can be sure all your traffic routed over the tor network.

Wicked project.
Im gonna try that out sometime.

Ugh not that TOR is that safe.
Acting paranoid and relying on TOR is a rather strange vision but thats just me.

Hopefully it works for you because it's not for me.

Well, to date I still haven't gotten whonix working either. Of course I've never REALLY sat down and got to work on it hard.
