One question mark is enough, man.

Other ways of downloading... throw away your crappy iShit and get a proper smartphone.
Otherwise with so much detail you gave us, I can only suggest to install a browser, like Opera Mobile, if that's even possible with iPhone, and download music from where ever you were downloading.

Here is the algorithm.
1) Delete all the data of your phone
2) sell it
3)donate 50$ to some good cause.
4)Buy galaxy S3....
5)Download Opera
6)enjoy

In this case it's simple, you can't! The only things I have been able to download have been .pdf files. If you want to download music and put in onto the iPhone, download them on your computer and transfer them to your iPhone using iTunes. You could also just pay for Spotify and use that. I have been doing that for half a year now and it works like a charm. I have never experienced any problems and you can save the songs for offline playing also.

There sure is a lot of cynicism of iphone on an iOS comment in an iOS thread. Some people like iPhone some people like Android. It does no good denigrating the purchasing choice of one over the other.

Yes the correct answer is Jailbreak your iphone and get the safari download manager. You can even get a torrent client like itransmission and download torrents right to your iphone. Once you jailbreak your iphone you can do, just about anything you want on it. Enjoy your phone, its s great device that will offer you years of service.

Let us know how it goes.

At first glance I read this as. "How to download an iphone"

Actually, I agree. I don't prefer apple products really either but guys this is the iOS section. Perhaps some more helpful comments would be appropriate.

Just sayin  ;D
