Dell S2440L Monitor Driver? for linux?
« on: March 06, 2013, 04:07:01 am »
I've googled and done everything i can think of to get my new widescreen dell monitor to work on mint 14 linux and have come up empty. I've heard there's a way to manually fix this through xorg.config but haven't been able to find a walkthrough. any help is greatly appreciated (as always).

just to specify. the picture is coming out but it's incredibly warped.

Staff note: do not double post....

Well monitor drivers are unlikely to be ever needed.
Your looking for graphic drivers that is.

What video card are you using?
Nvidia/ATI or intel ?
Wtf where you thinking with that signature? - Phage.
