Guess my pretty first PC game I can remember was ROT (Rise of the Triad). Doom 1 with the Simpsons Doom extension. Hexen and Heretic.. damn those were pretty awesome games.. lol.

Yeah i have RoT installed right now. My fav early platformer for PC would be Commander Keen. Really probably should have just made a massive list.

Fuck I feel old.

If I had to name notable games from my early childhood it would be some of the first ones I ever played like Oregon Trail.   https://archive.org/details/msdos_Oregon_Trail_The_1990

Before that it was command line games written in BASIC, which was also my first language I learned back in early middle school. I barely remember it but it is quite different from the languages you see today.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BASIC

My first game console was an Intellivision.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellivision

Haha, I remember those games (Oregon Trail, number munchers) and I also had an Intellivision and a Odyssey. Never really got to use em that much as my friend had a Nintendo.

Horsy shit. How many games that I never heard of. TO be honest, my first gaming experience was when I was age 7. That's when I had my first computer.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego

Damn, I forgot all about that one. I had a few different ones. I remember having to use a book to solve the clues. Awesome ass game for its time.

My fave games of my childhood were The Sims and The Sims 2 and also Warcraft III, especially the original Reign of Chaos one.

Never owned a gaming console ever so those are very much lost on me.
