@LuciD you always see your own real address. Having vHost or not. Try logging from two clients at the same time and /whois each other.
Request and activate your vHost before joining to any channel. That way, only the net ops will be able to see your IP before you get it.

Thanks ca0s for the clarification. I guess I'll just request a vhost on IRC then. I imagine there is a specific/polite way to request one.

EDIT: Oh you said before joining to any channel? Hmm ok

I would suggest a proxy for IRC, but I'm having trouble finding one myself.

I tried that. I couldn't connect to the server through any proxy I tried. Besides it sounds like using a vhost is easier.

I've only found one proxy  that supports IRC ports, and it was slower than me cumming while drunk. Vhost does sound like a better option.

LOL. The only trouble I guess is it's not just something you can install or configure yourself

EDIT: Don't I have to register my nick on IRC before I can request a vhost?

You will have to register first and then talk to me, and, xires, or kulverstukas to set a VHOST (we had a bot but its dead).

Exactly, you can easily figure out my general whereabouts immediately once I log into IRC evilzone. Besides, I noticed a few of the members on IRC have their address showing as username@somethinggoofy.somethingelse or username@evilzone.org and thats it. Mine shows my ISP location and name. Which is a giveaway to my general location. I would very much like to change this but try as I may I can't figure it out. Id probably spend a huge amount of time on IRC if not for this one small downside. But I guess I should sign into IRC and ask about vhosts as Kulver said

If you just connect to IRC and PM either me, kulverstukas or factionwars we can set a vhost for you and nobody except admins will see your IP/hostname. But before that, you have to create an account tho. And every time you connect to the IRC, identify for the account and then join channels. Then it will show username@vhost in the channel.

But, really. Your entire hostname/ip is not shown for anyone except admins. It will show parts of your hostname or IP. Which really only tells what ISP/country you are in, and are rarely a problem. However I will note this issue down for further ideas. Perhaps we can set everyone to @evilzone.org.

Having everyone show as @evilzone.org is a good idea I think. Unless of course they want a different vHost. I like mine ; )

When I worked at subway, I used to IRC with telnet all the time. You need to know the protocol in order to do it though.
