« on: September 15, 2012, 09:47:39 pm »
Hey guys, I just noticed I got +1 Karma. --- I have no clue what this means. A little help explaining the karma system?

Thanks I appreciate it.

People who have more then 10 posts can give + karma, or - karma.
Only one point every hour to each person.
Admins don't have such a limitation.

If you really like someone's post or info/idea give him a +1. If you think that person made a very bad and terrible post with very miss-leading info or very rude messages, then you might consider giving him a -1.

As you start to make more good posts people will give you more and more karma.

Therefore a crucial step to becoming a better programmer is learning how to avoid getting stuck, to recognize when you’re stuck, and to get unstuck." -Jeff Wofford

Because we all hate potatoes here. Potatoes are the devils food and we aim to destroy all potatoes in the world.

Yessir. You don't have to tell them that you gave it to them but most people like to suck up  ;D

EDIT: Oh and you have to be sure to actually hit the applaud button under their name....otherwise you are just being a tease

lolz, karma does nothing and it means nothing... it's just there for fun. If you rage when you get -1, then you have issues.
