Welcome to the world of not needing to install TOR (Vidalia) on your computer to access onionland sites. Now just don't be stupid with what you do on these sites

Nice and awesome, but it doesn't open all the sites included in the hidden wiki?

Well onionland sites are up and down some have a changed URL. The Hidden Wiki is more of a starting point. You'll find a lot of links on torchan that are active

And also don't confuse PedoChan with TORChan please!

I based my view on the sites that exist in hard candy? I didn't know at the beginning what the hell is it. So checked some sites and all of them were blocked.

The onion network takes a little practice to know how to surf it. Plus as skidiot.h said, alot of them are down often times.

What does not doing stupid entail? Yeah, noob question.. Still, not trolling.

It means stay away from CP and be careful as a lot of darknet sites include CC's/Paypal as well as other highly illegal services that you don't commonly find on clearnet sites

And remember, TOR network provides Anonymity not privacy. Just because your sending stuff over it doesn't mean what your sending is secure, just that it's anonymous. Big difference there folks ;)

As long as i don't send id or some info to compromise myself,  anon means secure right?

incorrect. Anonymous is pretty much the extent of your identity is hidden, however secure is a term to be used to an actual secure connection. Think about it, you can run TOR all you want, but anyone connected to the same exit node or even running that node and sniff and log traffic and impose MITM attacks phishing for any kind of data they choose. So in that example they may not know who you are, but where you go and what you do can be sniffed and used for further doxing/hacking of you.

You better run Tor if you're going to put your nose on Onionland :P

Onion.to and Tor2Web are service providers, but they entirely break the purpose of not knowing each other that surfs a site. You can't know where a tor web server is(at least not by cheap means), but Onion.to does know you on Clearnet. The tor node web server doesn't know you either... but where are you left since Onion.to knows you? (your IP, user agent, etc).

They might say they don't keep logs, and it may be they don't, but there's always something left around... :P just saying.

PS: Is not that running Tor will protect you, in fact, it has its flaws like any other software but you better run your own node and don't leave your data to 3rd parties.
