Yeah, why not. If we can exist in this universe then why aliens cannot?

This is a big question. I would say there is no definite answer. It is a possibility. We can say with certainty that they can exist. But due to the lack of proof it is not certain.

There is no reason for them to not exist but there is no proof of their existence

It remains an open question, science neither denies nor proofs the existence of ET's

I can't believe our earth is the only lucky planet supporting life, out of Million Million Million x 10^n galaxies in the universe. What if the governments are covering up the alien incidents, or there may be organizations dealing with aliens just like in MIB(Men In Black).

Remember it's not impossible, it's not yet possible.

Yeah, I think it's weird how people are so critical of the possibility of aliens, it really wouldnt make since for only 1 planet in infinity to have life. I don't think the government is covering up anything though, because if it were, darpa would be making some way better stuff or not saying what they are making at all. And challenge.gov wouldn't need people to fix robocalls for a huge prize. Plus a lot of other stuff.
But yeah, noone really knows.

I say yay. There are plenty of planets being discovered that have similar conditions to earth. Plus, you gotta think, there are alot of different kinds of life. Just because a planet isn't similar to earth doesn't mean that it can't have some other kind of life.

There are living organisms inside of volcanoes...

Even though science cannot prove this and even though we have not seen others, does not mean there are none. Universe is endless, no one know what is happening beyond our universe... I truly believe there are other life forms out there...

"We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet,"

Most extraterrestrial life would be similar to microbes, or small animals. Microbial life might exist far beneath the Martian surface, where liquid water is thought to trickle through the rock. Marine creatures might also conceivably live in huge oceans of water beneath a miles-thick layer of ice on Europa, a moon of Jupiter.

But if a scientific census could be extended beyond our solar system to the rest of the Milky Way and beyond, the odds in favor of life's existence rise dramatically.
Another possibility is that intelligence itself might be inimical to life. Humanity has put itself on the edge of its own destruction by creating nuclear bombs and other weapons of mass destruction.

If the same holds for intelligent aliens, then they might not last long.
:P Perhaps they all blew themselves up soon after they discover that E=mc2. If civilizations take billions of years to evolve, only to vanish virtually overnight, then sadly we've next to no chance of hearing from them...
or maybe.. soon they'll find us.. and then..  :-\

Not to turn this into a UFO thread, but my mom worked for a good number of years in an Air Force radio town in Birch Bay, WA. There were so many incidents dealing with that particular tower and so many UFO sightings in that tower that most of her military career is classified. She's never once mentioned to me that she worked in that tower, I found out from my sister (because she was around when mom worked in it).

I believe that there HAS to be SOMETHING else living out there in the universe. The UFO sightings and other weird shit like the Bermuda Triangle and other similar areas, it could be just something we're overlooking. Kindof like when people see "ghosts" when they're in an area of strong EMF's. Even if that's all it is, just us freaking out over things we can't explain, there still has to be something else out there. After all, NASA did find a planet that could support human life, it's just a couple degrees warmer..

It would be an awfully large waste of space if we are alone out here.
